Have You Ever Riden On a Camel?

Hi Everyone,

With all of the media coverage of Egypt, it made me curious if anyone here has been on or around a camel? My father told me(after his trip to the Holy Land) that they were very mean natured and it was difficult to ride them. It just seems so strange to see them roaming the streets as a form of transportation in more modernized cities.

What is you camel experience (not the cigarette-LOL)?
