that totally rubbed you the wrong way but you are so taken aback and shocked that you don't say anything? But then you get in the car or shower and think of a hundred things you should have said and start talking to yourself telling that person off?! LOL!

I was checking out at our local grocery store and the cashier asked if I wanted to donate to a certain charity. I said, "No thanks, I just donated to an animal shelter last week and have recently given to a couple of charities for Japan, need to regroup first."

She said, "Well, I beleive in keeping my money in the USA. This is an American Charity and I feel that's where Americans should put their money"!!

WTH!? I told her I give to St. Judes and two animal charities on a monthly basis but I believe humans are humans and animals are animals regardless of what country they live in so I am not so limited.

Regardless that I didn't agree with her, I don't think it was her place as an employee to say this. I should have told a manager but there was a line at the courtesy counter and I had frozen foods.
