Hi,

After two years, I am still unemployed (my field is Communications). Despite emailing tons of resumes, mailing out hundreds of resumes and networking, I still haven't had any response. Unfortunately, relocating is not an option as DH has been at his job for 20 years. I don't have any experience in retail sales, so even working at Mickey D's is not an option.

I understand the HR departments are swamped with resumes, and not getting any kind of an acknowledgement is the "norm" these days.

If you are also looking for work, how do you cope? It's really difficult day in and day out.
