Since the first, my phone has been plagued with non-identified callers.
Has the list expired?
Is it time to re-initiate my number and re-add it to the list?

We bougt the call blocker fron QVC with the big red button. Absolutely love it.

@LTT1. The list never expires; it's supposed to go on forever. It's just generally ignored and treated as a joke by telemarketers. There is little, if any, enforcement so why not?

I said this in another post but the robo calls switch numbers so often, the list is obsolete. It can't keep up.
I pick up and hang up any unknown numbers and that gets rid of a lot of those types of calls very well.

Okay @LTT1 get off the forum! Guess what I just got? I am holding you responsible for them finding me again. LOL

@Laura14. Picking up your phone is the worse thing you can do. You let the telemarketers know it's a live, working number so they'll keep trying until you answer, then they'll try some more. Just let it ring. They'll usually hang up at 4 rings because they don't want to talk to your answering machine.

Thank you!
You are kidding me!
Well, so I looked up and installed two free apps.
The first one, once you register, all you get is an ad for a monthly fee! (Gee thanks!)
The 2nd one may work, but I won't know for 1 hour.
That just seems weird!

@Kachina624 Actually they do talk to my voice mail and I was tired of wasting my minutes and my time deleting robo calls. My breaking point came when I got a Medicare call. I am in my 40s. As long as you don't say hello and just disconnect the call, it's been wonderful for me towards stopping them cold.
@LTT1 I am NOT kidding. It's been going on at work for months now which is new. The new scam is the caller ID is a city. We went from big cities to now little cities mostly out of state which is how I knew they were probably not real. I ignore each one and they finally slowed down but got my first one of the day just like clockwork in the early afternoon right on time. Should get another one around 4pm to round out the day. Bonus is I have been learning about all the small towns we have in the USA.

@LTT1. I get very few calls because I have a phone company recording on my line that I don't accept sales calls, but recently some bozo called at 6:15am! I almost answered it just so I could cuss him out but I resisted the urge. I normally only get 1 or 2 calls a month which I never answer.

Good to know!
So when I push the side button to silence the ringer/send to voicemail...is that ok? I mean, will that discourage them or does it verify that there is a live person here?
