Has anyone here ever purchased from Ruggables?

Are you happy with them and the quality? Did the actual product look like what you ordered? Thanks

Re: Has anyone here ever purchased from Ruggables?

I purchased a 9x12' rug and am very happy with it. the colors were a little more muted than I expected, but beautiful. installation wasn't difficult, although it did take 3 of us to put it down evenly on the pad.

Is that the rug that covers a pad, and you can wash the top rug part?

If so, my son got those for his kitchen.  He seems to like them and they look nice.

@MariotaMurielle

Thank you Smiley Happy  Mine will be a 3x5 to go in a short hallway.  It might be 6ft long with doors and a cased opening on all sides.  The dogs will be laying on it sometimes so I'm looking forward to being able to wash it.  The color of the painted wainscoting and wallpaper is somewhere in this rug. It's going to blend in beautifully.  Your maroon and navy rug is beautiful too!

Yes it is.  I don't remember how I found it.  I wasn't looking for it.

Re: Has anyone here ever purchased from Ruggables?

I almost bought one.  I did quite a lot of research on them, but decided not to buy.  I needed a rug that was 6x8 and there were many complaints about the ruggable rugs not lying flat.

I finally bought a machine washable 6x8 rug from Penney's.  I have had it for about a year.  It has held up well and still looks like new.

I need to use a commercial size washer, but it doesn't need washed often.  I do vacuum and spot clean it as necessary.

I would be interested in more honest reviews about ruggables.  I still like the concept.

they don't lay flat at the seams after you wash them. They keep saying they have fixed the issue but not as far as I can tell. At that point they become trip hazards and dangerous. I have had much better luck with Tumble rugs and they feel much better also.

And don't think if you get a large one that you will wash it - you likely won't.

Re: Has anyone here ever purchased from Ruggables?

I've had my Ruggable for a few days and am thrilled with it.  It's 5ft long and lays in a 6ft hall (with 3 doors and 1 cased opening).  It's thin and the corners have triangular "grips" on the corners.  I added double sided Nano tape to each corner.  DH told me to put a rug gripper pad under it too but I forgot.  If I see that it would help, I'll do it but for now, it's good and stuck with the Nano tape.  If, after washing, it gets a ridge or wrinkle in the middle, I don't see that it will be a problem since the Nano tape will keep it nice and taunt.  I'd love to put one in the entry but the front door gets lots of dog traffic.

Re: Has anyone here ever purchased from Ruggables?

I used my robot vac on the Ruggable for the first time and on Max+ suction (highest).  It did fine but I will put some more Nano tape on the long sides of the rug.  It lifted the long sides as it went over the rug but it laid back down.  It hasn't moved.  A couple of 5" long pieces of tape and that should do it.  The heathen Dingo has already been laying on my new rug Smiley Surprised  It's ok I guess.  I knew I was putting it in a location where they like to lay occasionally.

Re: Has anyone here ever purchased from Ruggables?

I replaced all my area rugs with ruggables and a large rug from Tumble. One of the best purchases we have ever made. We have a dog and a lakehouse and we're in the woods, so plenty of opportunity for dirt and spills. I have washed my kitchen rug once and it lays perfectly flat with the padding underneath. I don't think you are supposed to put them in the dryer- I dried the rug outside on the clothes line

The Tumble rug sits on an interlocking rubber pad and there are corner pockets in which you tuck the rubber pad.

The one thing i will say is you can't vacuum these with a super suction vac. I have to turn my dyson on low.

I think they are beautiful and practical.
