I think the mssing socks are living with the missing paper clips and pens I am always losing. 

They have formed some alternative community in a forgotten drawer.

My sister was visiting from Maryland and decided to help me clean out some "stuff" that had been piling up.  That was a month ago - today I looked in a box labeled "Misc. Papers" which to me usually meant stuff to file, stuff to throw away, keep, decide, etc.  In it along with the other papers I found a missing folder full of recipes, a missing new box cutter, a bag of rubber bands, a couple of pens, a roll of packaging tape, and a PAIR OF SOCKS!  I love my sister, but... LOL

And I think these two may have eaten one!

Hey Preds......that's a darned good idea.  Thanks.  I get up during the night and dread going into the bathroom because the toilet is so cold.  Might have to give it a try.

Have a Visiting Angel doing my laundry now.....and 2 times now, a sock (each time a different kind) is missing.  One appeared returned this last time, and one disappeared.  LOL  Am thinking when she sorts the laundry she may kick one under one of the machines.....

@Preds  Wow. Excellent idea. What a good way to use those four socks that no longer have a mate. That'll teach 'em. Plus keep me warmer.
