She died today at the age of 89. I loved To Kill a Mockingbird. Such a profound book. Also loved the film adaptation starring Gregory Peck.

I always said if I was only destined to write ONE book, it would be To Kill A Mockingbird.

Harper Lee wrote a classic.  It will always be my favorite novel.

I was wanting to read the book that was published recently, but once I read some of the reviews, I just had no desire.  To me, Mockingbird was perfect and I saw no reason to tarnish it with it's sequel.

May she rest in peace.

TKAM is one of my favorites too, especially the movie.  I watch it just about every time it's on tv.
