I remember her from the Snake Pit.  I read the book as a very young girl.  When the movie came on TV, I of course, watched it and was absolutely frightened by what was happening, even though I had read the several years earlier.

She has always seemed such a lady. She must have led a very gracious life, just looking at peace she exudes from her picture.

 Happiest of birthdays to her.---------tedEbear

One of my very favorites....Happy Birthday!!  My favorite Olivia DeHavilland movie was "The Heiress"...loved the last scene where she walks up the stairs and Mongomery Clift is banging on the front door and she says '" He's grown greedier over the years. Before he only wanted my money; now he wants my love as well. Well, he came to the wrong house - and he came twice. I shall see that he does not come a third time.".....................was a great scene..
