Thank you Halo Bolt !!  Went to run a last minute errand and my battery was dead.  Went down quick as I just drove the car Sunday.  Anyway, hooked up the Bolt and the car started on the first turn of the key.  It would have been a sad day without it.

I bought the Halo about 5 years ago and it has been a blessing in so many ways from jumping the car to running a fan and charging my phone when the power goes out.

@grandma2pkmh  That's good to hear, luckily I haven't needed mine, but your post is a good reminder that I need to make sure the one in my trunk if fully charged.

@grandma2pkmh  That is good to know and I also am thankful for the Halo. My son had a dead battery leaving his job at 3am a couple of weeks ago. His Halo worked great and he was able to drive the 45 mins to his home. We just gave him the Halo last April and are so glad we did. We have not had to use ours yet, but are glad we have it.

@grandma2pkmh  Thanks for posting the positive feedback. I've been contemplating buying one of these for probably two years! I need to stop procrastinating and place an order.

My dh brought mine in to charge, and I need to put it back in my car. Thank you for the reminder. I'm glad you had it with you, @grandma2pkmh.

Well worth the money.  I haven't needed it for my car yet, but did use it on my sister's when she got stuck in my driveway.  I had her car started before she got off the phone w/her hubby.

I recently bought the new one w/the air compressor.  I'll give my original to my nephew.

Thank you for the feedback - we like the Halo as well. Money well spent.

Disappointed.  I have purchased at least 3 Halo Bolts over the past couple of years- 2 of them being gifts.  I attempted use of mine for the first time today (trying to start my husband's Ford F350) and it didn't work.... what makes it even worse is that he emphatically told me that it wouldn't work..... I double checked his hook ups and installation and tried starting the truck myself- but- he was right, it didn't work.

Now I am feeling ripped off and very apprehensive regarding the gifts I passed on to family members. - I don't want them having a false sense of security because they have the Bolt with them and then find that it won't work for them either.
