Family are safe in Pinellas County. They had lost power, but still had cell service. We just got the word this morning.

I'm late to the post about the poor pup but I saw the footage captured by the police vehicle.

If that officer had not looked over he may have missed the poor baby.

He was tied quite a distance from the road and barely visible.

An angel definitely was guarding the pup and another directing the officer.

My great uncle is in Zephyrhills.  He's in his early 90's but still extremely active and self-sufficient.  He is fine and was able to sleep thru the night.  He lost power yesterday evening before 11:00 p.m.  He and his neighbor will go out in a little while to access any damage at their houses/properties.  I was glad to get this update last night and another one this morning as I've been so worried about him.

I think Balletbabe or another couple of posters are also from Zephyrhills.

We are fine here in South of Fort Myers FL. No damage or flooding. We had worse with others like Irma, but it payts to be prepared.

no damage to our house or property. Power stayed on despite continual flickering. I'm guessing our winds were 80+ mph. Tampa area topped 100 mph.
