The geography of Florida is mainly a question mark in my mind and this situation is causing me to take note.

The weather channel reported that Orlando lowered the levels of all lakes in order to limit flooding. This is news to me...they said it takes a couple of days to accomplish this feat.

From what I'm seeing and hearing  the Tampa/ St. Pet area took a real hit but not storm surge - but horrible winds.   I guess as the days goon we'll know more
