@smurfff  Glad the dog was rescued. I will never understand how a human being could hurt a poor defenseless animal. Maybe someone should tie them to a pole.

Milton has made landfall.   I still have power but it is really windy.   I am getting the worst of it right now.  The good news it made land fall a lot earlier then expected.

I hate to see what is outside in the morning.  Thanks to all that have been here today !!!

Couple more hours and it will be out of the Tampa area.

The guy reporting outside along the coast at Sarasota is TIED onto a steel railing!

This is something that puts in perspective how much humans are actually not able to predict the capriciousness of Mother Earth and her weather!🙏

He is tied of course to prevent a surge washing him away.

@LTT1  It is so wild outside.  I haven't even been able to step outside.   The wind is horrible right now.

Evil person, Hopefully the authorities find whoever did this evil action, arrest them, they spend a very long time in prison. Thank God, Rescued. 💗🙏

Wish they could tie this owner to a rail in chest deep water

Update-Extreme rainfall now in the Tampa Bay area.  St. Petersburg area is getting 4-6 inches of rain per hour.  North of that Clearwater/Palm Harbor has already had close to 12 inches of rain.  There could be major flooding not associated with a storm surge throughout the county.  The hurricane bands are not moving through very quickly right now.  About 350,000 in the area without power currently according to ABC in Tampa.

Tampa Bay is having a reverse surge.  That is really good news for Tampa.I can't believe I still have power.

Another hour or two and the worst will be over. It sounds like a freight train going through.  Scary!
