Thanks, @BalletBabe @Pittfanatic for your amazing updates so far. Keeping all Floridian's in my thoughts and prayers as Milton storms across the state.
My sister, BIL, niece & husband & dog, his mom & grandmother left Tampa on Tuesday morning for a group of motel/hotel rooms in Plant City, FL to hunker down in safety. My sister reserved all three rooms with unending dates in the event their homes are not liveable (or destroyed entirely) following this massive hurricane. It's a frightening thought.
My BIL had major surgery recently and still has stitches. He is moving slowly, but was the determining factor whether (or not) to leave Tampa. He (now 76) grew up near Tampa and has seen every hurricane over the years. Although he isn't supposed to be moving much, he made the decision to "get out of town and hunker down." My sister said she drove "gently, carefully and oh, so gratefully to be heading to safety!"
I'm so worried about all of them. Sending prayers, thought waves and good vibes their way and to all in Florida. Such a frightening time. (sigh)

Evil person, Hopefully the authorities find whoever did this evil action, arrest them, they spend a very long time in prison. Thank God, Rescued. 💗🙏

@smurfff - Thanks for posting the pic of that sweet baby that was rescued. Blessings to the man that rescued him. I hope the idiot owner gets slapped with an animal cruelty charge!

@smurfff There are no words. The poor thing must have been terrified. Happy to hear the good outcome.

This dog was found by a member of the Florida Highway Patrol, chained to a fence or pole, and up to its chest in water. So glad this pup was rescued by a dedicated first responder.Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles
·Update: The dog rescued by Florida Highway Patrolis safe and receiving care. Troopers brought him to a vet, where he was examined for injuries and received a clean bill of health.
@smurfff. He made the news on TV tonight. I wonder what possessed someone to tie him out in a field? Maybe they intended to come back to get him but couldn't.
Looks like purebred Bull Terrier.
