current issue. My dog WILL NOT GO OUT to potty. She went out early this morning when the rain was light (she hates rain). Now at 1630, no way. It's wild out there. My husband tried. I tried. Put on my raincoat which I quickly discovered is water resistant not water proof. She came outside with me and stood there getting soaked until I finally gave up. How long can she hold it??? She would die before she would ever potty in the house 😕

For some reason the water was already covering the dog and the police office walked across field to save the petrified doggie. Prayers to u ladies w/Milton impact.🙏

Just for comic relief, some uninformed moron who must be from another planet, posted this today on our local NextDoor app.  The responses he got weren't nice.

"Hey everybody, I’ve been hearing about a hurricane marton or Milton something along the lines of that…. Anyways word on the road is that it’s gonna be one of the worst in history and honestly even though I’m the biggest guy in my family (190 lean mass 👊) I’m scared of it hitting my beautiful home, is there any news articles or signs of it hitting New Mexico? @smoochy  - One of my babies is like that.  She absolutely refuses to go out in rain.  She's held it for 24 hours.  I think your doggie will eventually go inside when she can't hold it any longer.  

 I feel so bad for all the animals out there without homes in this weather.  Hope they can find shelter.
