I ordered two items for Christmas on "flex pay" and waited for them to ship. Well, one did and the other one didn't. My other item was canceled and had a message: "credit card declined 12/21". I was frantic because I've had my CC number stolen before so I immediately checked my credit card and my balance had plenty on it to cover the item. I didn't understand. I called their customer service number and it was as though I was speaking to someone from outer space. I hung up and called again, the operator refered me to some sort of "order verification" center. After waiting for 20 minutes to speak to someone, I was told that because this was my first order, I was not "approved" to purchase the item on flex pay but could pay in full. Huh?!?!? I have a valid credit card, have NEVER ordered from before and not on any "bad buyer lists". She just said for first time buyers, you can only order one thing. I guess with all of the fraud going around they are being "cautious" during the holidays??? Not sure but I am done with them. Ironically, the iPod speaker they allowed me to purchase stopped working yesterday.
