I dont see the Dentist until this afternoon, but a few days ago my gums became inflamed. I gargled with warm salt water, made the baking soda paste and took the benydral with tylenal. Nothing really helps. Now when I eat it feels like I have a mouthfull of razor blades everytime I bite and chew my food!.
My gums are inflamed on the inside and out and I have a cold sore on my tongue. (Sorry to be so graphic) this has never happened to me before. The dentist asked me if I had whitened my teeth lately and I have plus I use the colgate white strips toothpaste, she said it may be possible that I am allergic to the toothpaste. I am in soooooo much pain. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything else I can do? I feel like a toddler teething, and I am cranky and miserable too! Somebody HELP!
