Is it just ME, or do the new graphics on HSN look so - well, how to put it?  -  cheap or cheesy - Don't know why, but they just seem too big and bright - not classy at all !!!

Maybe folks will disagree and like to see them bigger and bolder -

What do you think???

@lovemyparrot  Hello and I am so glad that someone else noticed it.  I think it hit me a few weeks ago.

I have to say I have never thought of HSN as being classy.  For me, from their look to the way they present products, they have always been a little on the cheesy side.

I noticed them a week ago, maybe 2 and my first thought was I hate them.  Yep. Cheap and tacky looking.

I agree.    It looks cheap and bargain basement to me.

I haven't noticed but then again I don't watch much HSN.  However, historically, HSN has been the low-rent district compared to QVC.  But if their prices are better than QVC's, my guess is that most people don't mind their plainer sets, cheesier effects, and less-polished hosts.  It'll be interesting to see if Qurate attempts to bring HSN up to QVC standards.

The only only only time I buy from HSN is when Heidi Daus in on.

I do not think they are anything close to QVC.  Not as classy in graphics, presentation, or product quality.  I guess I am a QVC snob and fanatic.  QVC alll the way !!!

Re: HSN New graphics

[ Edited ]

I don't watch a lot of QVC or HSN shows per se but if they are having a TSV that I would like to see I will tune in.  The other day HSN had a Kitchen Gadget TS.  I missed the first half of the show and when I did tune in it was for two plug and heat containers for your lunch or maybe if you are having a pot luck.  It took me a full 10 minutes to realize that was the TS as the graphics were hot pink and not the standard red that usually signals a special value (to be honest it did say Today's Special at the top of the screen but I guess my eyes have been trained to look for the distinctive color and noting it was a TS price).  I always found their graphics and their website to be crisp and well designed/functioning, can't say I am a fan of this change at all.

I dont like HSN's graphics but these are really bad not to mention their sets. When they do their presentations there is just something about the make believe sets that feel icky.
