Sadly to say, I don't think air marshals would have made much of a difference in this situation. (I do believe in having them on board, though, for, at the very least, various smaller /other incidents, too.)

I had/have a feeling (from the beginning) that the plane and passengers were taken to a hidden (or other) airport. Hopefully they are well, and possible 'negotiations' are being made right now. You know, the exchange of people, etc. (I recently saw a retro Magnum PI where two people (one was our POW) were secretly exchanged.) I haven't read the latest news or this thread's posts yet.

Who would be feeding and housing that amount of people? Also airports or strips that can accommodate a plane that size are visible from aerial footage.

I think it's highly unlikely that anyone from this flight is alive.

Love, thank you. This is being discussed across the globe, if one wants to be offended it should be directed at someone who would do something soo heinous imho!

They did? Must have missed that. Was it earlier in the week?

Could have been yesterday, but they also retract statements at the drop of a hat.

They have only thrown possibilities out there but have not confirmed anything yet.

Earlier Saturday, a Malaysian official said the plane had been hijacked, though he added that no motive had been established and no demands had been made known, despite an earlier report by the Associated Press that investigators had concluded that one of the pilots or someone else with flying experience hijacked the jetliner.
