I heard that after a very energetic opening song at one of her more recent concerts she asked the audience "So what is your grandma doing tonight?" I can totally picture her doing that.  Love her.

I think personally that her most powerful performance was in "Silkwood."

Does anyone remember "Suspect?".  She plays an attorney representing Liam Neeson.  A little forgotten film I recommend.

Happy Birthday, beautiful Cher!  Heart

I was able to see her (very close seating) at a concert.

Beyond beautiful woman and voice.

As far as her outstanding Bob Mackie fashions, I'll always remember her lime green (maybe chartreuse?) dress and turban with either dark navy or black trim.

I wish I could find a photo of that beautiful costume.

She wore it on one of her Cher or Sonny and Cher TV shows.

@ROMARY ....if you find that picture, I would love to see it.  It sounds wonderful.  I always loved watching the Sonny and Cher show.

Is this it? @kittykatkay @ROMARY

No, that's not the one.

I believe the one I saw on TV was lime green, maybe green chartreuse.  With black or deep navy trim.

It was stunning.

I'll bet that Mr. Mackie would recall.

As I mentioned, she wore it on one of her Cher or Sonny and Cher TV shows.

I'll continue to look, though.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
