I think she's just inarticulate, undereducated and and feels that she's superior to the average person and that she has something to contribute. She doesn't speak well, so things don't come out the way she intended. I see it as sad more than anything else. She's a privileged little rich girl who only had to be pretty, blond and connected to "succeed". But she aged out of that. She's never been much of an actress. She's too old to compete with the Jennifer Lawrences and not talented enough to compete with the Angelina Jolies. Jennifer Anniston has a lock on the 40 year old romantic comedy parts. So, she's trying to be a .... well.... I don't know what. Life expert? She just doesn't understand how ridiculous she is.

The media loves to give half stories, imply meanings different than intended, make mountains out of mole hills, and so on.....sure she make sit easy for them to do so but if people didn't fall all over themselves to criticize her every move/word then there would be no story for the media to run with.....she's not as significant as the media/people make her out to be....I don't get all the attention and hype over her opinions...they are simply her opinions...we all have opinions good or bad...right or wrong....depends on what side of the fence you sit on how or whether an opinion matters or not.

I have no problem with celebs moving out of the country, but when they start to feel superior and think they can now critique the U.S. then they show how stupid they are.

I remember when GP was talking about how her social interactions in England are so 'intellectual' compared to the U.S. She said they hang with a group that talks about world issues, politics, etc., and when she comes to the U.S., all people ask her about is what type of jeans she's wearing and other superficial conversation. Give me a break; does she really think that no one in England is superficial? Ridiculous. She could find plenty of intellectual conversation in the U.S. if she took the time to meet the right people.

I don't think her words were taken out of context at all.

She has the gall to compare what she's been through (oh, boo freaking hoo) to the h&ll a soldier in war goes through. Her experience is not like what a soldier goes through at all. How presumptuous and self-involved she is.

Would this woman even be able to survive a life of less privilege than she has?

I work with a woman who reads that thing every day and often tells me about G's latest pearls of wisdom.

A couple weeks ago I responded with "I think she's an idiot".
