I've had the same experience....items from Amazon Prime are just dropped off and no tip is involved. I've never ordered food online, except for the Freshly food that DH ordered (6 meals) and was delivered on Tuesday. The UPS guy dropped the box off and left....I went out to bring it inside and could barely lift it! DH has severe COPD and can't help me, so I had to unload the box from my front entry.....the food was kept cold by 3 extra large squares of enclosed ice, and that's what made the box so heavy. My question is this - for those of you who have food delivered from Walmart and others, how are the items packed (bags or a box?), and how much food is placed in each container?

I think the weight is something to consider for a single older person, or someone like me who has to do the "heavy lifting". At 72 and weighing 108 pounds, I don't have the strength I used to. We will not be ordering from Freshly again because I just can't handle a box that weighs so much.

@FlyersGirl thanks for all the helpful info.  ShopRite is my normal store, but at the beginning of the pandemic when I first started ordering and shelves were empty, I was getting maybe 1/3 of what I ordered.  At least with Amazon you know up front if something is not available.  I tried ShopRite again last month and received everything so I just placed another order.  Fingers crossed lol
