Name the greatest ONE LINE in a SONG ever.

Not a verse, chorus or bridge, just one single line.

This question was on my Facebook feed and posters really enjoyed offering their favorite.

I think I will go with "amazing grace how sweet the sound."

What is your best line ever?

"My desire to be well informed is currently at odds with my desire to remain sane."

@Mersha Amazing Grace always makes me cry.

The first one I thought of was-

Judy Collins'-

"I've looked at life from both sides now from up and down and still somehow, it's life's illusions I recall I really don't know life at all."

Did you mean one sentence or like u said one line?Woman LOL

I don't follow directions well lol.

If one line of a sentence-it would be

"I've looked at life from both sides now."

"If you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew. Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"

"I could have missed the pain but I'd have had to miss the dance."  Makes me think of the hard times we went through with my late DH's bouts of cancer. Still miss him.

Guilty feet have got no rhythm

Recognize this one?  Hint:  It was the #1 song of 1985.
