How could they NOT lip sync? They are dancing and running all over. How can you modulate your voice while doing that?

They did not always lip synch in the past, it can be done.

Syd, I don't mean this as a personal attack. But while I watched I knew that there would be talk of lip sync. And then I thought...I don't know how one would be able to sing live while doing all of that staging and dancing.

I really like Katy Perry and all her songs but did not think that halftime show was that great. Surprised to read many of you liked it. The halftimes in the past were much better.

The special effects were neat.

But the #1 Half-time show for me was Michael Jackson 1993. He had audience participation and sang "Heal the World," a song with a powerful message.

I couldn't understand one word she was singing. Visually it was pretty, but it didn't have an inspirational and powerful message as MJ had back then.

I am glad to see the commercials are meaningful and have a message that can help. Loved the one to empower young girls from Always.

It's good Cody, the reality is that many artists these days choose to take this route, sign of the times I guess. I'd rather hear it live, mistakes and flubs and all.

Sydney, it made it worse in the past to lip sync. Not the singer, but putting the sound together. This was so much better.

I liked it too. She's so pretty and didn't dress like a stripper.

I'll bet the show was great to see in person with all the fireworks.
