Sorry but this is silly. Lip syncing authorities?

Maybe some of us feel that if she is a singer she should well I don't know, actually sing?

I don't get the dig either, true fans deserve the best performances they can get, what's wrong with pointing that out?

Everyone has a difference of opinion. Some liked it, some didn't.

I don't understand the need for snarkiness aimed at those that didn't care for it.

REALLY? I would be (pleasantly) surprised if some didn't respond that way...

I would think the fans, although they are there for the football game, who paid BIG BUCKS for their tickets . . . would prefer a real performance instead of a lip-synced one.

Especially IF I was paying 1700.00 a ticket, or whatever amount, I'd prefer to see a close & competitive game AND a REAL half-time show, not a pre-recorded one that was lip-synced. Smiley Happy

Forget Katy, the small bit Lenny did was the only part of it worth watching

I thought it was one of the worst halftime shows I've seen.

I've been looking for information on construction of the lion but haven't seen anything about it.

Has anyone else heard? What was it made of and what powered it? It was pretty spectacular.

ITA, very Disneyworld-ish (with the exception of Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliot)

StubHub had tickets for sale the day before the game for $9000! I wonder if they sold them?

Hi Noelseven, I haven't researched it but it looks like the kind of thing the Jim Henson Studio creates. The moving feet of the lion looked very much like what they did for War Horse on Broadway. And, yes, this is the Muppets creator. His son runs the studio.
