Just reading on line, what do your  grandkids call you?  I have no g.c. so it doesn't apply to me.

What do the little ones call you?  ours were always grandma or grandpa.

@qualitygal    I always called my grandmothers Grandma.  My grandfather preferred to be called OC...his initials.  When my first granddaughter came along....she refused to call me grandma.  She saw a picture of me and said "That's GiGi".   The name stuck and that's what all the girls call me.  I love it.  🥰

GiGi or GG means great grandma.  I know many GG's...all of them are great grandmothers.

Nice name though.

I always called my grandparents Grandma & Grandpa.  However today so many feel that it's just too "old" sounding but I still like it.

However my grandson who is still just a baby (he just turned 14 mos old!) is going to call me Mom mom & my DH will be Pop pop.

The other set of grandparetns will be Mimi & Poppy.

Many times once a baby starts to talk they might come up with their own names which will often stick.

@haddon9 We are supposed to be Mimi and Poppy!

I was the last one to get a name and when I asked over the weekend what my name was he told me it was MeeeMeee!  Best sound ever, lol.

He calls my husband PaPa.
