[WORKING GAL]

I am Bubbie and my husband is Papa.  My daughter called my Dad Papa and we decided to honor him.  I am Bubbie to honor my Bubbie (my grandmother).

We are Mamaw and Papaw.

They call me Grandma, which is what I called my grandmothers.

My grandkiddos call me Mom-Mom and they called my husband Pop-Pop. I never knew my grandparents.

  My grandchildren call me Nanny.  When my first grandson was born, I was a young (under 40) grandmother.

 When he was born, there were two great grandmothers and a great-great grandmother still living. So there were three Nanas,

all called that along with their last name. Grandfathers were Grampy.

 I didn't want to be called Grandma, so I opted for Nanny. Now I have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. To them I am Nanny.

We are PopPop and Grandma unless they want a favor....then I become Grammy.

DS asked me what I wanted to be called when my DILove was expecting.

I said "How about Grandmother?"  He said "Grandmother is way too up tight for you!".  We settled on "Gram".  DH is "Pops" like his dad was.
