A San Antonio TV station is reporting the sale has been blocked by a judge.

A Judge granted a Temporary Injunction to halt the sale scheduled for tomorrow. This gives the family time to stop the LLC.

Isn't Elvis BURIED there? I sure wouldn't want a house with a dead body buried in the yard. And if he, or anyone else is, what are they going to do with those corpses?

The auction is not happening now; sounds like the documents may not be legit and it may be a scam. City officials seem to think Graceland is a treasure and an exception to the foreclosure situation, so hopefully they will figure out.

I just heard something about a fraudulent mortgage was opened up in someone else's name. In other words, someone used Elvis home to borrow money. But, I woukd check on that. But it does sound plausible, as why in heck woukd Elvis home go into fore closure?? . No way the heirs woukd do that...at least . I would think!

I don't have a legal mind but this seems to have SCAM written all over it. The scammers took a chance that the granddaughter wouldn't be able to fight back.

It was a scam and a stupid one at that. FBI is now looking into this so called lending institution.
Graceland is a National Historical Site. It's the 2nd most visited home right behind the White House.
Elvis is buried there along with his mother, father, grandmother (who outlived all 3 of them), Lisa Marie and Lisa's son, Benjamin. There is also a headstone (no body) for Elvis' twin brother Jesse who died at birth. Originally, Elvis' body and his mother's were buried at a mousoleum in Memphis, but a few weeks after Elvis passed, there was an attempt to steal his body. That's when his father got permission from the City of Memphis to move their bodies to Graceland where they could be secure. Even then the vultures were attacking the family.
In the early days, Graceland was out in the outskirts of Memphis. Since then, the area has been built up and museums, restaurants, hotels and even Elvis' plane are on display across the street. Graceland is not in the best part of town any more and they warn visitors at night to walk together and get taxi's or other modes of transportation when going out around there at night.
The meditation garden where Elvis and his family members are buried is open to the public free early in the morning so visitors can pay respects. It's open to visitors before Graceland opens up. But it's nice for fans to be able to go there and not have to pay to visit the gravesites.
I'm glad this scam is over. Riley Keough is doing a good job preserving her grandfather's legacy. RIP EP!

Then once the judge issued the injunction halting the sale and the AG's office decided to investigate the company withdrew its claim. If that doesn't scream this was a scam I don't know what does.

Yep. And the company is saying that it's withdrawn its claim because documents were drawn up "across state lines". Um, okay! We'll buy that lame excuse.
A statement emailed to The Associated Press after Wednesday’s ruling said Naussany would not proceed because a key document in the case and the loan were recorded and obtained in a different state, meaning that “legal action would have to be filed in multiple states.”
I hope the FBI nails them. We all know that, if they had valid documentation of the supposed loan, they would pursue it through the courts.
