they are public boards in that anyone can read them (even if you dont have an account and even if you dont shop with qvc) and anyone can post as long as you create a user name and password.
yes, you will get banned if you repeatedly misuse the boards. however, there are ways to get back on......AND you can still read them if you are banned.
i do believe that that is what @Call It Even is referring to.
@sunshine45 - Yes, that's exactly what I mean ![]()

@sunshine45Point taken. As was your point about thread titles. I changed the way I write them after your public criticism.

Mostly I think people post on threads because they are interested to participate in the conversation even if they're not very interested in the topic.

This thread is hilarious. The very posters who always say "I'll post what I want" are now the very posters analyzing why people post on threads of little interest to them and choosing for others where and how to post.
It smacks of the superiority label pinned on others.
You cannot make this up. LOL

And by the same token, we have a few who have decided to post wedding stuff on a thread very clearly titled that they are officially sick of the royal wedding stuff.
What is the point of someone coming to that thread and posting a picture of Meghan?
If you want to complain about posters coming into wedding threads to say they don't care, complain about posters going into a thread dedicated to not caring about the wedding and posting about it.
