Somehow he had blocked arteries.  His father had bad heart too, but, he smoked , drank a little, never exercised lived to be 78. My husband was 71.

I'm just glad he died in June and not now they probably wouldn't have had a bed and he would had died in the hallway. He's with the lord now.

Oh @SharkE, I haven't been here in a while so I had no idea.  I am so very, very sorry.  It is so hard to lose someone we love and especially when it happens so unexpectedly.   Virtual hugs to you.

I hope you enjoy your new GE washer. I've had quite a few GE appliances, including my washer and dryer that were purchased at Home Depot. I'm very happy with them (washer/dryer) still - purchased them 3 years ago and haven't had any problems. Mine only have the basic bells and whistles, were on sale, were delivered and installed on time, and have worked just fine! I have absolutely no complaints!

BTW - I did not purchase the extended warranty....I seldom do.
