Headed to central Pa. We were going down the Golden Strip in Williamsport. Plazas, a ton of fast food places, lots to look at. I happened to look over and saw a sign, PA Drivers License Center. DD went around a block, parked and was in and out in 10 minutes with a renewed license. Sheer luck that I saw that sign.

Good for another 4 years.

I am SO jealous. But glad everything worked out so well for you.

I also am in PA. I have spent over 2 hours on my lunch "hour" to get a copy of my driver's license. I did not need a picture taken. And then when I needed a new license I have traveled to 3 different Drivers License Centers to see which Center had the shortest line. And yes they all seemed to wrap around the building or the line was down the front of all the stores in the small mall.

Congratulations, it has to feel good getting your license renewed and it didn't take hours. I am still jealous and it is good to hear success stories like yours.

In my part of Tx you have to make appointment. I did, when I walked in they took me automatically, no waiting. Paid 33.00 for 8 yrs., got new black and white picture, no color no more. Took vision test just read from a billboard not looking down in a microscope no more. Took fingerprints.

checked your license to see if anybody is after you (warrants, I guess)

In and out in 10 or so minutes, when you hit 70 you do this. Don't know if next time if I'm not dead if I can renew online. Oh, and you have to show proof of citizenship. I got passport that's platninum. No questions asked if you have that. Guess I'll renew next yr when it's due cost 160, but, it gets you to the front of every queue.

Had mine renewed last May...made sure I was there as soon as they opened.....it was pouring rain so there were only about three of us waiting ....in and out pretty quick...best part it was free...

My trucker daughter renewed her WV drivers license (CDL) online this year; DMV simply used the same picture on record and the new license arrived in the mail.

yeah you can do that for a length of time, but, when you age they want a current picture.

What a job for a woman. No way would I be a trucker. Dangerous and risky.

No. This baby we got from my sister over 30 years ago. We had to euthanize her when she was a little over 20 years old. BUTT

My wife decided she needed more than our 1 remaining cat, after we lost 3 of them in just a matter of 2 months. All were over 16 years old. One died about 3 feet from me, the other 2 we had to euthanize.

So! We now have a Calico that looks almost exactly like this picture. Her name is Daisey. She also got another rescue kitten from our Humane Society, 2 days later. She is a tiny gray Tabby, that weighs 1.9lbs. Her name is Poppy(ie), not sure how my wife wants to spell it. She named her after what she called her grandfather.

Now we have 3 felines and Lily, our little dog. Keeping them separated for awhile and introducing them slowly. Lily doesn't like animals or people, other than my wife and I. She gets along with Jasper, our older feline, but I wouldn't say she likes him.
