For all of the "goodie two shoes" posting here, I guess you have no trouble with ABC not dealing with Joy Behar. She is one nasty, hateful person. Some of the things that come out of her mouth are way beyond the limit, but I guess you are okay with that.

I guess it depends which side of the aisle is doing the talking. Now that seems fair, doesn't it?

Joy has made racist remarks??? When? I don't think she is any nastier or more hateful than Meghan. I guess it depends which side of the aisle?  Are you saying that YOUR side of the aisle supports Roseanne's comments?

Why would you say that any "side of the aisle" would support racism?  Your comments show why a civil conversation cannot be made on these boards.  Always trying to divide.

Because that was the phrase used by the person to whom I was responding. Or didn't you read HER comment?

Does anyone remember 25+ years ago when Rosanne Barr totally disrespected the National Anthem...screaming the lyrics and grabbing her crotch?   Everyone was in an uproar.  No one was supporting her then, so why support her now 25 years later with a racist rant.  Some of these same people who were not ok with her "comedy" back then are ok with it now...go figure.

I guess it will be discussed on The Talk tomorrow.

I tuned in for the first few minutes only before I even knew what happened today.

Poor Sarah.

Got the whole ball rolling for Roseanne and Roseanne blows it for everyone

associated with the show.

Maybe ABC’s courage will catch on....I’d love to see folks consistently call out and strongly rebuke all racist people’s racist comments - from wherever they come from (entertainment, public office, etc).

@Laura14Why would Netflix pick up Rosanne when they inked a multi year deal with the Obamas for original programming; their production company is called Higher Ground Productions and not deemed political.

@puttypiesmom  What does that have to do with anything?  Do the Obamas now dictate Netflix?  Twitter better watch their back!  Smiley Wink

Out of respect of course.  @Laura14

That's a good point.

I guess it means singing a song disrespectfully is anathema to being a good American, but being a blatant racist is something to defend.

We shouldn't be surprised. After all, there were "good people" on both sides in Charlotsville. Sigh. I cry for what we've become.

The only conclusion you can reach is that they don't have a problem with racism.

They won't even call it racism.

It's "rude", "crude", "raw", "nasty", "unfortunate".

Never raciism.

There is something inside her, that seems to like alienating people ,and coming out with the most vile things ,and then saying ,oops sorry. If you say you are sorry, you have to try to improve yourself ,and she doesn't do that. She always takes things to the farthest point she can. I think she has gotten worse with twitter.  I really think she is ill. I am not excusing her ,but trying to understand her motivation, for the things she does, and I can't find anything reasonable. She needs help
