@Goldengate8361 I appreciate the sentiment but eventually you'll have nothing to watch.

RB wasn't invited to sing the national anthem because she has a great singing voice. As was asked recently on a news show "What did they expect?" She thought she was doing a musical comedy act including making fun of the players who grab their crotches and spit. I give a lot of license to comedians to ply their craft but there are limits when it comes to seriously lying about people, spreading false stories and hating on someone because of skin color.

@puttypiesmom wrote:@Laura14Why would Netflix pick up Rosanne when they inked a multi year deal with the Obamas for original programming; their production company is called Higher Ground Productions and not deemed political.
@puttypiesmom What does that have to do with anything? Do the Obamas now dictate Netflix? Twitter better watch their back!
Out of respect of course.
@puttypiesmom I totally disagree with that. Unless the Obamas are becoming owners, their programming has no more importance than any other talent Netflix chooses to work with.
I assume they want to appeal to all audiences and not just one kind otherwise they could just set up a Youtube channel for their own peeps.

@Laura14 Another thing to consider is that Netflix hardly needs Roseanne. They're doing just fine without her.

@Laura14 No, not really. There are both good programs on TV and dedicated public servants who are not at all racist.

If you say you are sorry, you have to try to improve yourself ,and she doesn't do that. She always takes things to the farthest point she can. I think she has gotten worse with twitter. I really think she is ill. I am not excusing her ,but trying to understand her motivation, for the things she does, and I can't find anything reasonable. She needs help
@cherry I think you are so right. A lot of us self sabatoge especially after a great success because we feel we don't deserve it. Again, not an excuse for her tweet but I think you nailed the psychology behind it all.

@puttypiesmom Not with me. I watch one original show once a year. They don't care because I pay for all 12 months but I really don't find Netflix the compelling must see in my life. I'd love if they would add more original shows I would have an interest in.

@Goldengate8361 My point was that the behavior is eventually going to affect some of those "good programs" you enjoy. By the time we knock off everything that someone has a problem with, we'll be back to our crayons and sock puppets.

I wish I could say I feel sorry for her, but all I can say is I find her offensive @Laura14..she needs help ,it's probably a given, but there are many mentally ill people ,that arent mean and hateful toward other races. I guess ,because of my family ,and friends ,I am more sensative than some, toward her

And even if RB felt that way, only sheer stupidity would let your fingers type it for the world.
