Does anyone have one of these mats that are used under rolling office chairs?  We have a "plastic" one that was great when new, but over time there are indents where the chair constantly rolls and you get stuck in these indents.  I've seen ads on TV for the glass variety, but they're very expensive.  Opinions and recommendations, please on what you may have.

I checked out their website after seeing it on TV also.....just a flash look but I thought they were very inexpensive.  Will have to check again.

I expected expensive after seeing prices on other special office items.  chairs - raised computer tables

.Something has to be better than those plastic things - they crack but I wonder about glass also.  They say 'not'.

I have 2 caster office chairs so don't 'spin' around much.  Carpet under mine.

We used the plastic mats in my office my whole 32 year career and I never saw one with indentations or ruts.  Perhaps you need a different brand or quality.  I can't imagine using glass.

I have had one for 9 years since I remodeled my house. I had a custom size made for husband's office and he loves it. It is heavy. We have not moved it since it was installed. Have never had to clean it. We ordered it from glass man who measured glass inserts for cabinet doors and new windows.

I have something I got n 2019 from Amazon.  It's an Office Marshal Black Office Mat - hard floor protection.

I have an area rug over a parquet floor - and this is sort of a bridge combining the two areas.  Just the right size for my chair to move around by my desk and not roll onto the hard floor or the rug.

It's all one piece, came rolled - simply unroll and lay it down.

I haven't heard of glass mats but will look into them the next time I'm in the market.  They seem reasonably priced compared to plastic and apparently they also work on carpet.  Must be strong glass!

I've always had plastic mats - over carpet - and yes they do get dents where the chair's wheels normally reside.  Cheaper mats - e.g. Staples store brand - are more likely to do that.
