She was a traffic reporter on our local NYC CBS station for awhile. She may have been a field reporter on another local station earlier in her career.

She was always pleasant and professional. I was surprised to read she came to QVC.

Sorry, but I wholeheartedly disagree! Katie's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. She has to thoroughly pronounce her S's and make that sound that comes along with doing so. Drives me insane & will no longer watch her. Not to mention she is super boring.

Wish Katie was the one moved to Beauty IQ (i don't get that channel in my area) and bring Elise Ivy back to the regular channel.

The best current overnight hosts goes to Mary & Stacey, hands down! Wish they were on every night of the week & leave Katie at home.

I agree Katie is pleasant but her voice is annoying and she takes what seems forever to pronouce and speak. I hate sitting on edge of seat to listen for her complete sentence.

@Smartgrannie2003 Happy to have you here. I agree. Katie has a very soothing voice...no giggling, talking over guests, just the info needed and a pleasant smile. I also wish she had more air time in the evenings. She deserves her own shows, too.

I think your getting Mary Nelson and Katie McGee mixed up they look similar, and many have mentioned Mary's voice not working for them......Katie has a pleasant voice.

Mary's voice doesnt bother me, and I happen to like both hosts!
