I paid $4.69 a gallon at the "cheap" station in town here in South Jersey. It's only going to get worse for a while. The price of gas isn't even the worst. Heating oil is going up also and you have to heat your home. You can cut back on driving, but you still need to heat your home. Last year I was paying $300-$400 a tank. It's over $800 a tank now. By fall, it might be over $1,000 for each fill-up.
