Now that I'm thinking about it, instead of a glass cutting board, I've been using a glass microwave round tray.
I always place a paper plate or paper towel onto the top before cutting, chopping, etc.
It's held up very, very well. No cracks, etc.
Easy to wash / clean.
So, before tossing / recycling your glass microwave revolving trays, give it a try and use as a cutting board / kneading board, etc.

Hi @Gadget_&_Hack_Lovers ![]()
One of the Hacks I use is:
I use clean plastic trays on ALL the various shelves of the Fridge, & store ALL Fridge'd items on these clear trays, vs on the actual Fridge Shelves themselves. (ALL Fridge items, not just Fruit, as in the Amz pic below. And I dont stack the plastic trays on top of one another, as in the pic).
Using these added removable trays in the Fridge, I dont have to keep the Fridge Door open, or turn off Electricity, OR esp I dont have to crawl into, or remove the actual Fridge shelves. (Which I find a PAIN!!)
I just pull out each of my added clear plastic tray, & clean out my removable tray at the sink, then merely just wipe off the actual Fridge Shelf.
Some of my removable trays I line with a Paper Towel, esp if its a usually drippy item.
Originally, this inspiration hit when I was at Walmart, the plastic boxes section. I bought shallow plastic boxes (with snap tops) from Walmart. That way I could use the bottom in the Fridge, *&* the shallow tops elsewhere.
The shallow snap top of that same box, I used as a sort of a removable shallow shelf liner tray, in my Beauty Cabinet. Just pull out the upside down, plastic box top, so as to see all the items on that shelf. Rather than trying to see & reach in deeply, into what's in back of a shelf, i just pull out the upside down, shallow, plastic box top, and all that shelve's items are on top of that plastic, upside down box top. It brings the shelves total contents to me.
(BTW, this "Removable Shelf" idea above works under kitchen sinks too. If under sink water leaks, the plastic shelf grabs the water. of on pantry shelves, just pull the shelf contents out to yourself, rather than reach in back to see what's there sitting on it's stationary shelf.
What made me think of this above Hack:
.... I just rec'd notice of Amz sale of such Clear Box items. (Altho there's MANY MANY plastic boxes to select from on Amz, varying wide expanse of prices.
HTHs Enjoy!

Traveling:
I never purchased packing cubes because I am a "roll" packer. I always have room in my suitcases. However, the plastic cubes that new sheets come in I use to pack souvenirs, shoes, dirty clothes, etc.
If I ever were to use cubes to pack my clothes it would be the sheet cubes. No need to purchase regular packing cubes.
I should also post this in the Travelers forum area.

Hi @Mz iMac ![]()
I finally became a "roll" travel packer too, fortunately early on, when traveling so much for work. I dont know why it took me so long to go along with this! Strange as that way to packing clothes might seem to some. Less wrinkles, more saved travel space.
LOVE your idea about reusing these Blanket packages. I re-use them too, esp like they are strong *&* have an easily access zipper. Ive never worn out one of these pkgs.
But I like your idea of what to pack in them! In fact, I think I'll "roll pack" saved seasonal clothing in these Blanket Plastic pkgs too, on the possibility, if its good to "roll, pack & travel," why not try "roll, pack & store" in these saved Blanket pkgs. heh My "off" seasonal items do get wrinkled with the old idea of laying them flat!
Such an inspiration, g/f!!

MzIMac: I very, very much like your idea!
Use those blanket / sheet clear plastic zipper types of packaging.
They are very sturdy.
Right now I have only three of them on a shelf, storing various sweaters that I only occasionally wear.
Much better to use them in suitcases and totes for traveling.
Thank you!

Amz alerted me abt this, & I snagged it, esp for this price.
Not sure if it's only for the Pink at this price.
