This story is incredible. I wonder how many of us still have childhood friends that we can actually get together with and create another lasting memory. I'm sure thier families will cherish and treasure these photos that will be passed down to Future Generations..

I love this!  I have a handful of girlfriends who I've known for over 50 yrs. We have all gone through things - an abusive relationship, divorce, anxiety, financial stress, family issues, loneliness, illness, other health issues, the loss of a child, etc. - and the others have been there to support the one who needs it. We share similarities but also differences when it comes to doctrinal beliefs, political, social, diets, habits, etc. but the friendship is what matters.  We get together every couple of months for lunch. The majority of the group lives close to where we grew up in or within a 20 minute drive. One lives a couple states away and only comes occasionally, when she's visiting family.  I live about an hour or so away but don't mind the drive.  Our conversation just picks up where we left off the last time.  I love these women and want to keep our get togethers going until we can't.
