Re: Forum Question:🤔

[ Edited ]

             One important reminder...   when we remove images from our profile they also will vanish from the posts that contained links to those images (and that includes your avatar image).    Last time I looked, the image in the post or avatar was usually replaced by something like a red "x" in a box -- indicating a missing or broken link.

Example:

I see a few right now which are faint.  They did not used to be like this.  I am on a iPad.

@dooBdoo

Thanks for responding!

I thought it was the # of posts...glad you confirmed.

In fact I randomly guessed 200 in my original post! Funny.

And I also knew it wasn’t because of the read vs not read.

I notice this whenever I’m in the sub-forums of

Beauty and Customer Care.  There are always t.o.n.s.

of ‘thin font’ posters in these forums.

Don’t know why...just an observation.

I  don't know but I did notice.

I am Love Roses - NOT THE LOWER CASE loves roses.   How unoriginal of that poster.

@Puzzle Piece

Wow...I’m confused.

So there are 2 different posters with the same nickname?

Eeks....how is that possible?

The lower case letters have one more 's' in love.  That's how.  It's a lower case poster.

@sidsmom.  When I first started posting I eventually saw another poster and the same name I did so I changed mine.

It is also a poster who has reappeared with yet another name.

Yes, @mom2four0418.

But regarding @Puzzle Piece post mentioning how unoriginal this new nic is, I don't see it that way necessarily. After all the reason that I have a "3" after my nic is that there were already a "1" and "2". :-) And that's just one example of similar nics.

Unless a poster adopts a such a nic for nefarious reasons, I see nothing wrong with it. Lots of people do love roses.

@dooBdoo  If a computer "crashes" does that mean a poster has to open up a new account with a new nic?  I never understood why using a new computer means you have to start a new account.

I can see losing pics/files/etc. if they have not been backed up but all accounts shoujld still be accessible with a new computer?
