Re: Forever 21 stores

[ Edited ]

One business channel said that  45,000 retailers will likely close  in the next few yrs.  Partly due to Internet,  ginormous retailers  and  lack of disposable income of customers.

The Forever 21 store in the Mall near me closed years ago. Never shopped there. Didn’t care for the style of clothing sold there. Thought the company had already closed down.

I bought a few pieces online from Forever 21 last year.  Very good quality, cute & priced right!

I googled this store because I have never been in nor seen one. There is an article on their page from CNBC that says Forever 21 is blaming Shein and Temu for its demise. Thats not good.

Sorry that the many stores are closing and only hope it's a temporary phase the businesses are going through.

Well, The Q says that 50 is the new everything.  Maybe a forever 50 store would be popular.

Sadly, there might come. A time soon when all shopping will be done online. Or, smaller, selective malls.  Even now, so many stores cut back on their in store merchandise.

Covid really hurt so many businesses, ours included. It is hard to make up for years of down sales revenue. A friend of mine was raving about Temu the other day. She buys a lot of clothes from them. She thinks the quality is great as well as the prices. She said if she ever wants to return something, she gets the credit and they tell her to keep the product. Can’t beat that. I have no interest in supporting China though.

I bought a pair of faded blue jeans with a black lace insert that ran down the outside side the legs.  I loved those jeans! That was decades ago.  That store was in Ohio. I don't know if Texas has Forever 21 stores.

@tansy   I agree about the name Forever 21. It's as bad as "Fabulous 50".

Walked in and out of the one in the mall near us, nothing for my age bracket or taste
