I think I can post this because it doesn't have any links or codes.  If not, I apologize.

Anyway..... Amazon is offering their Amazon Prime membership this weekend for $73 instead of the usual $99.  It starts tonight (Friday) at midnight and runs through Sunday night at 11:59 PM Eastern.

that's how i got started with them, last year. i will try to renew, at the special price, but sometimes it's for new members only.

they may not advertise the special price, until it's an active offer.

Thanks for the heads up.  I dropped my membership this year - maybe I'll sign up again.  I don't trust some of their "sellers" and it seems a lot of reviews are not from verified purchasers any more.

Thank you @dooBdoo and @gidgetgh.  How do you sign up to get the notices from Amazon?  I shop on Amazon all the time but am not a Prime member.  I just checked my Amazon marketing e-mails, and I'm signed up to get e-mails about Prime.

Hi, @NickNack!  2 places.  In your account, look for the "Message Center" and set up "Notification Settings" for E-mail preferences and notifications.

Also, on the Amazon Press Releases page fill in your email address for "Sign up to receive Amazon Media Room e-mail alerts."

(I don't have Prime, either.)
