I'm doing holiday shopping earlier this year.  My most recent orders are shipping faster than they normally do.  The slowdown at USPS and FedEx may cause delays but that is not the Q's fault.

this comes as no surprise.......

anyone who watches the news OR frequents other sites should expect the same experiences. EVERYTHING is slowing down. do your holiday shoppng early or start taking photos of items you are ordering so you can put the photo in a card or gift box.

@Foxxee   thank you for posting this...we are in unprecedented times and every business is experiencing the same issues. I don't expect anything extraordinary from QVC and have always been satisfied with my purchases from both HSN and QVC. I think this whole situation with the forums being taken down is being taken so personally by so many and I find it hard to understand how people are not more understanding of the time and staff it took to manage the forums.  Anyway, I appreciate the letter and am thankful for the effort QVC takes to get 100s of products displayed for sale every week and coordinating and processing all the orders with the challenges that they face everyday. Good job everyone at QVC for all you do and thank you for allowing us to communicate on the forums for all these years. It was great and I will miss it but I understand the decision.

I received a similar email from HSN this morning. 

Somehow I feel they value me more as a customer than QVC.

HSN has always kept me updated on deliveries and when an order couldn't be fulfilled they would give me $10 Kash credit as a token. What did I ever get from QVC when an order couldn't be fulfilled? Nothing!

HSN so often had free shipping on so many items. QVC, only when I waited for a free shipping Sunday.

HSN frequently offers me discount codes of 20% off. Has QVC ever done that?

I think I know which channel I'll be watching.

OMG!   The Q may be experiencing what others with signs in the windows "Help Wanted."  People will stay on unemployment until it runs out.  I am thinking that the Q is short staffed in shipping area and possibly other areas.  That's why they need to keep the Forum open.  lol
