Forsythia, hearing airplanes outside, seeing robins, crocus (sp) coming up or at least leaves. Little teeny tinest flowers coming up, then ants outside.  Butterflies. 

What little signs of better weather show up and you go say, oh hey!! ?

Yes, ours bloomed in two days.  No ants yet.  They usually start around May in my house.  We do have rhubarb also.

I live in upstate New York, where we go from winter to summer with little in between. I have noticed that the scrub bushes are showing buds. The trees are still clear of buds. We don't get spring leaves until mid May.

Bradford pear trees!  I wish they flowered longer!

Forsythia, tree buds, azaleas, and allergies. Runny eyes and nose are wonderful indicators that Spring has sprung.

The tree in my roomates backyard is blooming with pretty white flowers.
