I like Matt Lauer. I like his humor. I also like Diane Sawyer.

 

Ann Curry didn't need help from Matt to get fired, she just wasn't good at interviews and never seemed comfortable.

 

What's unfair is blaming Matt. If the ratings had indicated Ann was well received she would still be there. Accordingly if the ratings indicated Matt was unpopular, he would be gone.

I was a big fan of Ann Curry, but she was not a good fit for the position she was eventually fired from.
