I've shopped on Amazon for years and had only good experiences.
I ordered a headboard about 3 weeks ago $168.00.
Checking the order status today, my order says ordered delivered to the front desk and signed for by Bett! I live in a single family home. There is no front desk. I went to the site to report that I did not receive my item. I noticed a tab "about the seller"
My item came from BULGARIA!! good luck to me getting this straightened out.

Call Amazon directly and explain what happened.

do an online chat and see where to go from there.
sometimes they will ask you to wait.
sometimes they will issue a refund immediately.

I have always had wonderful customer care from Amazon. Call 1-888-280-4331 Hope this helps!

Since covid , amazons customer service is doo doo. I avoid calling them at all costs, and do not try chat unless you have an hour or or two to wait for sentences. I think they run the replys from overseas on foot. Awful. I order a lot, and am prime. But I will never use third parties. What I buy must be sold and shipped by amazon. Otherwise you are sunk. It will take weeks to get things straightened out Dont get me started. I have been a prime member since the beginning.

@granddi Call 1 (888) 280-4331. This is Amazon's Customer Service. They will fix your problem. Had something that was delivered to a different address. The CSR sent me a new item and told me that if the neighbor that got my order returns it to me to just keep it. The service was fantastic. The Chat was a joke, Definitely call.

@granddi If you contacted Amazon with no results, call your charge account company and tell them about it and they will remove the charge from you account and investigate.

Call Amazon Customer Service. I have had things come from 3rd party sellers Ok they didn't arrive. I called them and that very same day the items were credited back into my account. This was just a couple of months ago at the height of the pandemic. My hold time before speaking to a representative was less than 5 minutes and I called mid afternoon eastern time. They most certainly will help you.

Speaking of Amazon, I also had a first today. Yesterday I got an email saying my order was on it's way but there was a shipping problem and that my order would be delayed.
This morning I had another email from them saying due to a shipping problem my order has been cancelled and I would get a refund within 3 to 5 days after the return was processed.

I have never found Amazon as pleasureable to shop with as many others do. I dont care for some of their selling practices. One day something can be priced very reasonably and the next day sky high, and back and forth like this. I also dont like that since Covid they offer no phone service, makes me a bit nervous about buying. I seem to find better prices and deals on ebay.
Also I love to read product reviews, and they often mix different items from the same vendor into the reviews and I end up reading reviews on things I am not interested in. Or not even certain what product I am reading about.
