I always thought there was a special Presidential hospital 

within the confines of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Or did I read too many fictional accounts of the White House?

With all the security, transportation, etc...and just general chaos 

the position brings, I would think her recovery would be 

at the White House...of course, with the level of care

given at the general hospital.

I think what you say makes eminent sense, @Nancy Drew;   without being privy to someone's entire medical situation, possiblity of complications, risks, etc., it would seem difficult to make an informed judgment about length of stay.

I'm with @cherry-- hate being in the hospital.  I'm always raring to get out, but would crankily abide by medical dictates....

Melania has been very visible this past week, I saw her make a couple of public appearances, she looked wonderful as always.
