Well, the IRS has been defunded and reduced staff so much, that even if there wasn't a govt shutdown, responses from them would be slow.

 

I never get a refund.  I always pay.  So, to me it makes no difference.

Add me to the list of those who haven't even rec'd what I need to file.  I just rec'd my W-2 from my employer. That's the first thing I've received.
