It's Mother Teresa's feast day today. I got this in an email and thought it was pretty neat-if you're a saint, lol! Just kidding but I only wish I COULD do those things. Maybe I'll try them one at a time. Yeah, I can do that!

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.

Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.

Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.

Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.

Create any way.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.

Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten.

Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.

Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God.

It was never between you and them anyway.

I love that prayer, especially the last 2 sentences.

very thought provoking for sure. Especially those last two lines.   Which is so true .   Be true to yourself,   God Knows you and your heart you have to answer to no one but him.

i will never be Mother Teresa,  not many could be. she was a saint on earth definitely.

Mother  Theresa was one special women for sure!!!    I'm not Catholic, but to me she was a saint, long before she was a Saint!  I always admired  her gift to treat and speak to all with love... even those who cursed her!   She treated everyone, saint or  sinner  with compassion and love. She didn't have preach The Word, she lived it....outloud.
