I liked the bands in the 70's when I was a teen Chicago, Eagles, etc but I also like motown The four tops, Diana Ross, etc.

Earth, wind, and Fire, Bee Gees, KC & the Sunshine band. I still love disco and funk soul.

For me back in the 60's  was Motown all the way ! The Temptations, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, The Four Tops, etc.  I still listen to some of that old good music on my Sirius XM station called Soultown.

Favorite group: Chicago 

Favorite singer: Frank Sinatra! My parents ate a late dinner by themselves and played his records as long as I could remember. They had one where he sang the songs of Cole Porter. I loved them, and when I was a teen I noticed some of them could be somewhat scandalous! I thought I was so sophisticated, when I was actually the opposite! LOL!

To this day he is still my favorite singer.

I had a lot of favorites....many mentioned here and went to a ton of concerts all through the 1970s.  Most were at the Spectrum in Philly or my college which had a lot of concerts.

However my very favorite band (and I still listen to them a lot) was Renaissance with Annie Haslam as lead singer.  I saw them about ten times over the years.  They were a British band but I found out that Annie Haslam moved to Bucks County, PA around the time that I did back in the 1990s.

I even went to a local concert in New Hope and saw her perform.  I brought my LP (Ashes Are Burning) and had her autograph it!
