Re: Fast Food Drive-Thru is Thriving in Our Town

Just finished our dinner from Culvers.  They just opened in our town last month but they have a huge parking lot and have one parking l of on either side of building and there were  twelve cars waiting (they do cash on one side of parking lot and credit on the other.  My son estimated that they had at least ten employees working.

My local Culvers kept their drive thru open awhile but is closed for now.  Too bad - good food and I always have coupons for them.

Not a big fan of fast food, but I really like Wendy's chocolate frosty. Wanted one last week but for now will be eating food from my own kitchen that I prepare myself.

Ours are very busy too. I've learned to get there no later than 11:20 for a lunch order. Otherwise the lines are too long.

ChickFila Is doing a booming drive through business, and they have got it down to a science. I don't have to give them any money I have absolutely no contact with anyone I placed my order on line and get in the drive-through and simply pick it up on the tray that they bring to my car. They are using all of the precautions.

Our Taco Bell drive thru frequently backs up so far the cars are sitting on the main road. It’s even worse now with the inside closed.

I use Grubhub once in a while.  I don't use door dash as it's not free.  Food is really good.  Though it can get pricey.  We don't order out every night.  I don't do food shopping in the store.  It's delivered.  I'm happy with Instacart and I will continue to use it after this mess is over with.

No Culvers near me.  I've tried aother delivery service Uber Eats (which pretty good) and the food I've tried is pretty good.  Funny, I've never tried the taxi Uber but I have tried it's food delivery.

Drive thrus at various restaurants are packed in our city, Long lines everywhere. We just did our first carry out/drive thru the other day. Hadn’t done that since early March. We are going to try to order once a week to help local food places.

We do drive thru restaurants 2 or 3 x a week and Culver's is our favorite.  Always hot.  We have been to BK and McDonald's.  Anything is better than cooking in my book. We are going to do a drive thru Italian restaurant next Tuesday for my dh's birthday. They have fabulous food whenever we have done a sit down meal.
