Maybe the person organizing it is only in the planning stages and looking for a head count for a venue, caterer, etc...

Just because everyone RSVP'd that they were going, doesn't mean that they all will show. If it was me, I would not go. We have mega drama in our "family" and I do not want to listen to all of the nonsense that goes on .... and in our family, our main troublemaker would do just that....she can never shut her mouth!!

If you really feel that you should go ... like others have said ... show up and leave early ...
